Vienna - Final Thoughts

Best of Vienna-
1. Our hotel
2. Renting bikes and riding through the woods
3. Baked goods (including Sacher Torte)
4. Refreshingly cool weather - sometimes too much so

Worst of Vienna-
1. The rude natives
2. 60 degrees in summer!
3. Food other than baked goods (pickled ducks liver, stewed calf brain, etc.)

Off to Innsbruck!

I'm curious if the reaction to your being American has been negative overall on your journeys? Even in Canada, just on the other side of the border (or maybe because it's just over the border), I get quite a bit of anti-Americanism. A couple weeks ago, a guy at a bar even tried to start a fight with me for being American.

Other than that, great to hear about all the fun places you guys are going!

We havent encountered too much anti American feelings, at least outwardly. Who knows what people think though! People are often rude in general - I wonder if that is because we are American or if that is just the culture...
